“Energy” Stone

Specimen 1

A weighted 119.051 cts uneven shaped stone with iridescent on its flat surfaces submitted as rare stone by a customer. Customer told that this stone is from meteorite and come with strong “Cosmic energy”.

Random 2 spot were tested on [Specimen 1] with Raman spectroscopy, and result of the Raman spectrum matched closely with the RRUFF spectrum for moissanite.

Natural Moissanite, only found as tiny crystals in some meteorites (originally formed in star dust) and kimberlites, is a naturally occurring silicon carbide, SiC.

[Specimen 1] shows coarsely crystallised hexagonal plates with rainbow iridescent surface colours is typical synthetic silicon carbide which normally produced artificially in large quantities as an abrasive, more commonly known as abrasive “carborundum”.
